CONSERVATION CONNECTIONS DEMO
To help you evaluate how well Conservation Connections fits your needs, you can download a demo version of the software. The demo version has all of the major features of our standard program and contains a small amount of real, live data from one of our customers. For privacy reasons, the names of people, organizations, and parcels of land have been modified to disguise them. And some of the data items have been added to help demonstrate more of the features. But it's about real people and real parcels of land. There are a few restrictions in the demo compared to the real product:
- You have no access to the Security functions so you cannot add users or change their permissions
- None of the reports work
- You can add only a very few new parcels of land and a few contacts.
- It can only work for one user at a time with no sharing of data among users.
In order to use the demo, you need either Microft Access 2003 or Microsoft Access 2000 installed on the computer where you will run the demo. To obtain the demo, click one of the buttons to the to the left:
- Demo - Access 2003: for Microsoft Access 2003
- Demo - Access 2000: for Microsoft Access 2000
To install and use it, merely:
- Click Save (NOT Open)
- Follow the download instructions and save the downloaded file to a folder or the desktop
- Double-click on the downloaded file or its icon
- When you receive the Login screen, enter the following:
- Username: demo-user@ewarenow.com
- Password: demo-user
After you log in, you will see an empty window with the Conservation Connections toolbar at the top.
- Login: Reopens the login form you just completed. It can be used for another user to log in to the program that is already open
- Parcel: Gives you a form where you can List the parcels and from that form you can Go to a parcel or create a New parcel
- Contact: Gives you a form where you can list the contacts and from that form you can Go to a contact or create a New contact
- Protected Properties: Displays a summary by parcel type of the properties under conservation protection
- Add/Change...: Gives you a set of forms you can open to make changes to various dropdown lists
- Security: Is not availale in the demo. It allows an administrator to add users and grant them certain permissions to use parts of the Conservation Connections software
- Exit: Closes the program and returns to Windows.
